Wally and Nancy were exceptional hosts and the most loveliest people to make you feel at home. Their B&B had character and warmth. It was very vintage, but we loved this about the place. The location was beautiful and calm and didn't take long to drive to the next town. Nancy and Wally also provided us with valuable information to help with our exploring of this area of the Finger Lakes. The food was exceptional, and a lot of effort went into making us feel welcomed. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this B&B.

Home was new and super clean. Kitchen was well-equipped if we wanted to cook - there were even spices and oils to use. Nice little touches like make up remover towelettes, all light switches labeled, towels super soft, everything you would expect at a hotel but with more room to spread out!

Everything about our stay at Black Walnut was very enjoyable. This is a beautiful and lovingly restored old house and every detail is intentional. Jen is an absolute legend and was not only super friendly but made really excellent breakfast (very delicious and with local ingredients) and gave us recommendations that were spot-on. We also appreciated having the modern comforts of multiple streaming services and reliable Wifi. The back garden is also gorgeous. Even the cat was friendly. All in all, it was everything you'd want in a bed-and-breakfast.

We drove through a snowstorm to get there and it was wonderful to walk into a spacious, warm and comfortable space! The location was fabulous - especially good for Winter gorge walks, and some exploration of the national parks. The space itself is set up beautifully and the rooms are a wonderful size. We made our first home cooked meals of the trip, which was such a wonderful bonus - the kitchen was quite kitted out (a pleasant surprise!). Overall it was a great and comfortable stay! Thank you :)
