First off location of the hostel is very good. You are very close to Ninh Binh center and you are still in very quiet area. Hostel provides free bikes daily so you can already access everywhere in this region easily. The staff was very kind and tries their best for you. Cleaning was just perfect as well. I definitely recommend here.

The most welcoming host ♡ We got bigger room than booked, and great advice for visiting different sites and finally even snacks for the train ride back to Hanoi. Stayed in family room, it had two large beds and huge balcony. Did not try the pool. Good breakfast. There are many restaurants, cafes and massage places near by as this homestay is right in the center. I recommend you visit the Bird Valley before visiting any other places as it is the most beautiful, with boat rides to caves and to see birds, large orchards where you can actually pick ripe fruit from the trees. It only costs 150 000 VND to visit the area and everything is included. No one is pushing you anything and asking for tips or extras. The boat rides only last for app. 2 x 30min, if you take both, not 3 hrs like in Trang An.

There aren't enough words to describe this gem: a hidden corner, tucked away in a beautiful and quiet ring of mountains, only a 3-minute bike ride from the center. Simply a delight, and the owners are kind and welcoming - communicating through Google Translate. They are the fairest people: they called us the day before our arrival to say that the yard of the place was flooded from the rains and if we canceled, they wouldn't charge us. Lucky we didn't cancel! The water didn't bother us at all and disappeared after a day.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Tam Coc Moment 😍 Tommy and Lily treated us brilliantly throughout our whole stay. Lily’s breakfasts are delicious and Tommy’s tips when we arrived helped us a lot on planning what to do during our 7 days stay in Ninh Binh. We can’t thank them enough and we will recommend Tam Coc Moment for everyone we know going to Ninh Binh. The bungalow was really cute, had a mini fridge and a kettle and really good wardrobe space. The Shower was really lovely with the stone features and the pool would’ve been nice had we had the weather. The Staff are really helpful and assisted with our motorbike when we came out to a flat tyre in the morning. Good location, would stay again if I am ever in Tam Coc again. Thank You

What a wonderful, peaceful, green, hidden gem in Ninh Bình! Nhà Lúa only opened in April 2023 and we are so lucky we got to spend a few nights here. Hoang and his family built this little sanctuary with so much love and attention to detail. From the wooden furniture to the paintings and hand-woven lamp shades, it all harmoniously fits together and creates a calming and inviting atmosphere. Needless to say that the room, private bathroom, and common spaces are all well-kept and clean. Our room was airy with very high ceilings and a big king sized bed, with great bedding. It also had a big fridge and a kettle. While the location is more remote than other homestays and hotels in Ninh Binh, you can borrow bikes or Hoang will easily organise taxis. And for anyone travelling through Viet Nam on a motorbike, this is definitely a great base from which to explore Ninh Binh and a perfect place to recharge for a night or two. Nhà Lúa is also only a 15min bike ride away from Vân Long, which is a much less touristy boat ride than Trang An or Tam Coc. While breakfast is included and cooked to order (we were given three options to choose from), Hoang and his family also offer a lunch and dinner menu, which are equally delicious! Above all, we want to thank Hoang and his family for the hospitality. We were met with such warmth and care, never overbearing but always wanting to make sure we had everything we needed. Hoang is easily one of the kindest, honest, dedicated, and most hard-working people we've met and we wish him and his family all the very best! If you are visiting Ninh Binh, we can wholeheartedly recommend Nhà Lúa.

    Not in the village, so transport with a big bus is impossible. For the last 1.5 km or so you will need private transport or pick up. Hosts are very helpfull. Situated near the rice fields and karst mountains. We rented motorbikes via the Homestay for two days to cruise to the pagoda, Trang An boat, caves, restaurants and finally to the bus station.
