Wonderful place with some of the best views in the western cape from your balcony. A lot of very nice hiking trails close by. Gert-Jan was super helpful with finding nice hikes and activities around and made sure our stay was a 10/10. Great quiet area if you want to relax but also tons of sanctuaries and other activities around. All in all a great stay 👍

The hosts are just great; they really made the stay. The property is filled with light and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are lots of birds (and baboons, so watch your personal belongings on the terrace). My only regret is that we did not stay longer. There are also tons of activities in and around the area to keep you occupied for a few days.

The location in the forest is very unique and it felt like being on a treehouse. We had an amazing time and excellent dinner on the sundeck with a fantastic view (monkeys in the forest). This is the place to relax.

We had a wonderful stay in Lily Pond Country Lodge. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Bronwan was the most dedicated manager we‘ve ever came across. She did a great job in giving us advices on daily trips. We had the opportunity to eat twice at the restaurant and the chef has created great menus for us! The waiters were excellent. We had a wonderful time! Thank you

20 Good Summers is a beautiful farm outside of Plettenberg Bay. Davina and Derek have been exceptional hosts, making me and my brother feel very welcome in their beautiful home! We particularly enjoyed the company of lovely dogs and the tranquility of the farm!

The views and surrounding areas. The attention to detail within the home was amazing. From the small chocolate next to our beds to the amazing muffins; yogurt and jam left for us on arrival as a pleasant surprise from the owner. We enjoyed every second. Plenty to do in the area.. must see is the "look out"restaurant on the beach and Beacon Island Hotel.

    It was a lovely stay at the Villa Villekula. Just a short drive vom Plettenbergberg Bay, the lodge is located right in the nature with dogs, donkeys and chickens. Easy to relax in this atmosphere. The food was amazing. You should book the dinner when staying there!

    This was a magical place to spend time on our South Africa vacation. The Villa is outstanding with the lovely rooms, resident animals/friends who gave us lots of cuddles, fabulous food and the host are very caring. I felt like I was wrapped in a warm blanket of care. Scrumptious breakfasts and phenomenal dinners. I cannot recommend this place enough! Luckily we spent three nights here but would have loved to spend even more time.

    The hosts were so lovely and welcoming. The property itself was quaint and peaceful and totally off the grid, so no load shedding interupptions! The rooms have character and personality while still feeling comfortable and homey. Unfortunately, we couldn't join for dinners, but the menu sounded incredible, and our breakfasts were delicious, hearty, and homemade. If we're in the area again we will definitely be staying at Villa Villekula again. It was a unique and charming stay!

    Villa Villekula was by far the best place we have stayed on our trip along the garden route. The room was incredible, so unique with the most amazing views. We were very kindly upgraded and the breakfast was also outstanding. If you are considering booking you absolutely should go ahead. We are planning on coming back to stay again on our way back. Thank you so much!

    The villa was amazing! Our room was great, and exactly the same as we expected. The hosts helped us with everything we needed. The dinner were so delicious and the host took care of everything we needed. Since we have a special diet, she cook us a special meals that fitted out needs and was very tasty. Highly recommended!!

    This felt like a mix between staying at my mom's house after a long time away and a great hotel. We stayed one night at Villa Villekula and it was fantastic. After just finishing the otter trail it really felt like we were spoilt with great hot showers, comfortable rooms and friendly service. The food is also fantastic and would recommend highly. Daniela and Willie are absolutely lovely.
