Joel and Flor are absolutely amazing hosts! They make you feel like home and Joel has an amazing knowledge about the area and offers to help with shoutle transfers etc. The hostel was super clean every day and has a very well equipped kitchen! The breakfast comes in pre-prepared containers therefore you can have it at anytime you want which is ideal if you have an early start. It also is a lot! Comfortable beds and pillows as well.

This place was kept exceptionally clean, and we had great contact from the owners on whatsapp (in Spanish). We were also given a little flexibility with the check out time and tipped extra for it. We are trekkers so the 18 minute walk down into town was fine for us. Those who need a taxi its not more then 5000 pesos or $5 usd so no problem for those who are not wanting to walk too far or if weather is poor. There is a information booklet with lots of details + numbers for taxi drivers if you need it. Wifi, tv options were great. Mid-sized supermarket is just around the corner for self-catering needs, for those who like to cook, or who want to avoid over-priced restaurants in town. Overall 10/10 and a great base to have if looking to stay a few days and want to stay a little outside of the main touristic area.

The house is wonderful: spacious, well equipped and with a spectacular view on mountains and Beagle channel. It is about 15 min from city center, which is good: not too much people, view from above, all shops are still close. Also you can enjoy the views while walking to city center. The only thing is that the glass in the windows is not tempered, so I was worry of my kids 1 y.o. and 3 y.o. But it doesn't matter if your kids are elder.
