We were unable to fulfil our stay as our car broke down en route. We only notified the hotel on the day and they were gracious enough to take our circumstances into consideration and not to charge us which would have been their right. Large, spacious and immaculate room and the host made us feel very welcome and shared her knowledge and passion for the town and local area. Breakfast offered a great choice of homemade baked goods, jams and local fruit juices. An added bonus was their interest in artisan beers and antique beer collectables adorning the communal spaces.
