The location is tactically positioned, making it an excellent base to explore nearby highlights like Savuti, Linyanti (in Chobe National Park), and the Chobe River Front—all reachable within a two-hour drive. Although we didn’t have the chance to go on a guided tour with Titi, as it was the end of our trip, we’ve heard great things and would definitely ask him to show us around if we return. Martin, the owner, and his girlfriend were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a peaceful, well-situated retreat near some of Botswana’s top safari destinations.

The little convenient store was very well stocked !!! More than I expected with good meat and Chicken and fresh Veggies!! And a lot more! The Birdwalk with Stone is not to be missed... He is a wonderful guide.. we saw 50 spesies an 6 lifers!!! Amazing .... The foodplanes were flooded , so we had amazing views and beautiful Sunsets. Thank You Muchenje Campsite.... Muchenje Campsite and Cottages offers three self-catering units, each featuring an open-plan kitchenette that is equipped with an oven, toaster and refrigerator. Perfect location for visiting Chobe through the Ngama gate, which is much quieter than the Kasane side. The grounds are lovely and everything is well spaced for privacy. The cottage was spacious, clean and well appointed. The owner, Hayden, is super knowledgeable about travel, wildlife, etc. In the area and very generous with his time helping his customers plan visits to the park or onward travel.

The Residence Villa Chobe is a luxury holiday home with a large private garden and balcony overlooking the Chobe River, located close to Kasane. Guests benefit from free WiFi, air-conditioning, and private parking available on site. Everybody is exseptionally friendly and has always a smile- Lesley who supported us whenever asked, the kitchen team, who cooked 3 times a great dinner for us and Boa with immediate positive response. We felt very happy to be there! Thank you to everybody!
