This place was delightful in every way. On arrival, we were greeted warmly by the host and one of her five children. We were shown around our room and to the kitchen, which we were free to use. The room was beautifully set up, with lovely touches including a jug of drinking water on the table, and some individually wrapped cookies, which were vegan (a bonus for us, as usually we can't eat any chocolates or cookies). A little later, the host came to see us again with another of her children, to collect our payment. Again, their interaction with us was extremely warm and friendly. The room had a wonderful wall-length heater, which kept it warm, and a really nice combination of lighting, including a standing lamp with a dimmable bulb, and bedside lights. The bathroom was immaculate. The shower screen was so clean that it looked brand new - it had no streaks or water/soap marks on it, and the towels were folded to perfection. We spent two nights here but could have stayed longer due to how lovely it was. On the morning of our departure, the host came to see us to make sure we said goodbye when we left. She was so friendly and lovely. I cannot fault this place at all; it easily deserves a 10 out of 10.

The apartment is very well-equipped, very clean and spacious. Great place to come back to after a day trip and cook, if you want to avoid Switzerland's very pricey restaurants. The owners were very nice and helpful

The location of this apartment, in a historic building, is excellent, especially if you are there to explore the famous next door monastery. They have done a nice job keeping the original/old beams while also fitting in a modern bathroom, and a small kitchen. As we arrived just as they were closing up the restaurant/bar, we didn't get a chance to try their food as we only stayed 2 nights, and they opened the day of our departure. Maybe next time!
