Was invited for a birthday drink and driven to the port at departure. Arranged a mountain tour with a private driver. The large room and lovely big terrace were very neat and tidy. Well-equipped kitchen. Everything spotless. Can warmly recommend this place.

The view from the roof terrace is breathtaking, as is the food which is served there every evening. The owners and the staff are very friendly and willing to help with everything. We had a great stay here!

Location is flawless - on a quiet street, but just off the main road. Aluguars stop virtually opposite the property and are very frequent, both going up the Paul Valley and along the coastal road. There is a little mini market just around the corner, open until 20:00. The owner is super - helpful and able to advise on all the best walks in the area. He suggested a much better walk than the one we initially wanted to do; he had maps and suggested places to eat. The room was very comfortable, clean, and the balcony was a nice bonus. The kitchen area is really nice, half al-fresco. All the staff were lovely and kind and very helpful. The internet works fine - there are 2 networks to choose from. I was also very grateful to have access to a guest fridge in the kitchen area. We regretted cancelling one of the 2 nights we'd initially wanted to stay and only staying 1. For bonus points, there is also a little 8-week-old puppy :)

Providing sea views, Kaza Ladera in Ilha de Santo Antão provides accommodation, a bar, a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace or balcony. Exceptionally clean and beautifully furnished place, run by the kind and knowledgable Evandro. With only the ocean waves in our ears we slept peacefully and awoke to a delicious breakfast. Evandro also made banging Caipirinhas with local Grogue, which we enjoyed watching the stunning sunset over the Tarrafal bay, chatting to some other lovely guests. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Perfect location in Ponta do Sol next to the small fishing harbor The room was spacious with comfortable bed and sofa and beautiful view on the ocean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms here will provide you with a balcony and a terrace. のどかな場所にある隠れた素敵な宿で、心からリラックスした滞在ができました。 タクシーで行くしかないと思っていたロケーションでしたが、フェリーで到着後にコレクティーボを捕まえられるよう、事前にドライバーに情報を共有していただき、スムーズに到着することができました。また滞在中にはトレッキングのルート情報、交通機関の費用目安など旅行者にとって助かる情報をたくさんいただきました。 お部屋はとても可愛らしく整えられ、水が貴重ながらシャワーも十分快適に浴びることができ、トレッキングの汗を流した後にバルコニーで寛いだ時間は癒しそのものです。 夕食もこちらでいただきました。素材の味を生かしつつとても豊かな味わいで、たっぷりのボリュームながらどれも美味しく、手を止めることができませんでした。程よく疲れた体にお腹も満たされて眠り、さわやかな空気の中でいただく朝食も幸せで、本当にカーボベルデ旅行のハイライトと言っても過言ではありません。 この土地のことが大好きなオーナーのお二人の人柄を反映したかのような素敵な空間で、働いている方や動物もとてもチャーミングです。特にチャールズと一緒に行ったハイキングは一生の思い出です。また戻ってきたいです。 ちなみに、こちらでは無料で飲料水も提供してくれます。なので水をどこで購入するかという心配は不要です。

We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).

The appt is really huge - 3 bedrooms, spacious dining room, kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the tableware and cookware. However, the shops in Ponta do Sol are really tiny, so if you're travelling by car I'd suggest to do your grocery shopping in bigger villages (e.g. we've found a relatively big shop in Ribeira Grande) or even before departing Mindelo, especially if you want to purchase alcohol. Anyway, if you don't want to cook yourself, there are several cafes/restaurants nearby, but I suggest to book the place for dinner in advance, as the best places are fully booked. Good wi-fi, plenty of parking place on the street nearby, key is left in the locker box, so you don't have to worry about time of arrival. The host is very sweet and helpful - she has sent all the precise instructions on whatsapp in advance and it was very easy to contact her anytime.
