We spent two nights here while we were hiking the Quilatoa Loop. This is an amazing place to stay in Chugchilan. You will feel so welcomed by the family who owns the hostel - they are so kind and gracious and make you feel so comfortable and at home. The vegetarian meals were huge and delicious and there was banana bread available all day as well as coffee and tea. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was here. The cat Theresa is so friendly and the sweetest little boy lives here!!

Great dinner (three course, if you count the small dessert!) and breakfast, beautiful location with stunning views over the canyon, and the nicest hosts on the whole Quilotoa loop! Absolutely recommend this place! For a small fee they also offer a wonderful turkish steam bath with fresh eucalyptus and herbs from the area, which is super nice after the strenuous hike.

The staff is always so kind, this was my second time staying here and they really make the experience great. The included dinner is amazing, and the set up is great to meet new people. Very nice view onto the valley and the volcano. We were watching the stars and shooting stars from the very comfortable bed. Although it was cold outside, the blankets and heater keep you warm. The jacuzzi was nice as well.

The staff was really friendly and helpful! The rooms were nice, spacious and comofortable. There was always hot shower, toilet paper and soup. The kitchen was spacious and fully equiped. We loved out stay there and would definetly come back.
