Less than 20 minutes drive to Utah Beach, Sainte-Mère-Église, Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, Isigny-sur-Mer, Carentan and in the walk distance of the church of Angoville-au-Plain. B&B: This bed and breakfast has an interesting history in WW2, some serious fighting was done in the area. The owner is very kind and helpful, she is always available for questions and excited to share her knowledge and the history of this B&B and the surrounding area in the World War 2 era. The rooms we stayed in were comfortable and very quiet in the evening. We had a great view of the front courtyard and the back garden. The bathroom facilities were modern and clean, it beats even some 3 stars hotels that I've stayed in in the past. The breakfast was delicious with fresh baked bread and different sorts of French cheeses. We even had some homemade crêpes on the first day! The breakfast room was also decorated in various WW2 items. Overall, we had a great stay at this B&B and look forward to returning in the future! 👍
