The location is perfect – just a minute from the lake and surrounded by the sweetest little shops in magical Keswick. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was simply fantastic – a high-quality menu with delicious options made to order, plus drinks and homemade granola. Truly one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel! Our room was gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated, and every day we were treated to fresh homemade cookies waiting for us – such a lovely touch. There’s also private parking which is very convenient. We honestly enjoyed every single moment and didn’t want to leave. We travel a lot, and this is by far our favorite hotel. We will definitely be back!

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. With free parking and free Wi-Fi, it serves hearty breakfasts cooked to order. Guests can swim in the property's off-site pool. Our stay at Glencree absolutely exceeded our expectations! The room was gorgeous, very modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a selection of cereals to choose from, fresh fruit and breakfast cooked to order. Great location, and lots of parking in the church across the road if the guest spots are taken. Would highly recommend Glencree to anyone looking for a stay in Windermere.

A delicious breakfast is provided each morning in the chandelier-lit dining room, which has a log-burning stove for the colder months. Full cooked options are served, along with cereals, yoghurts. This guest house is a gem, we loved the friendliness of the staff and our room was lovely - spacious, nicely decorated, and the two windows let in plenty of light with gorgeous views over the old church and farm land. The location was handy to several attractions within an easy driving distamce, and only a short walk to the local pub where we enjoyed a nice meal. The breakfast was outstanding!

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels.

High ceilings in this traditional stone-built house give rooms a light, spacious feel. Beds are adorned in Egyptian cotton linen and there are also TVs and free Wi-Fi in rooms. Excellent location! Very close to the lake a shops. Lovely and clean room. The hosts were extremely kind, warm and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon! Will definitely recommend this to others!

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake District scenery. We liked all: the place, the breakfast; the dinner; the room;the view. Beside us just sheeps! And the welcome was so great!
