The studios are nicely furnished, full equipped with just about everything out might need, they have large verandas overlooking a garden and sea; the quiet beach is a very short walk down a lane. The location is completely quiet and secluded it’s a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The property is very well looked after, super clean with 2 charming ladies who meet and greet you at the airport (a 15 minute drive away) and supply you with a very good breakfast on your veranda each morning. Plenty of hot water and room to park your car, what more do you need for your vacation?!!

The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. We arrived late at night. The host prepared a (complementary) snack and helped up plan our trip into Athens the next day. The area was nice for short walks on country (farm) roads.

Chris was a gracious host, he was friendly from the start and a wealth of information. The place exceeded our expectations, the beach below was stunning and very private, many time we had it to ourselves. The small taverna a 15 min walk away made home cooked traditional meals with cheese made in house. The restaurant Chris recommended our last night was the best meal we had on the Island and the setting was in a quaint square in the town a 15 min drive worth every kilometre.

Host Harris was very accommodating and greeted us with Greek coffee and Cheese Pie on arrival.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space for guests. Peaceful and scenic location overlooking a small bay. A thermal pool was accessible right below the property. The owner, Kyria Marina and her staff went out of their way to be helpful and informative about nearby restaurants and services, a walking access to the town of Agios Kyrikos and arranging a custom tour of the Island. We were there in late May, but the crystal clear waters of the Bay are perfect for swimming in the summer season.

Surrounded by olive trees and wild vegetation, the traditionally constructed and styled Pyrgos Exclusive Boutique Villas have balconies with unique views of the sea and the mountains. One of the nicest accommodations that we have ever stayed, felt like home from the first moment. Beautiful design, lovely materials (all traditional), stunning views. The apartments are designed in such way to ensure privacy. There is a kitchenette and facilities to prepare a light meal and warm drinks, the apartments are very spacious with good storage space. Cleaning and changing of the bedsheets every other day. The complex also has a beautiful pool if you wish to use instead of visiting one of the beaches. The hotel manager provided us with many helpful recommendations so we made the most out of our stay on Ikaria. If you’re planning on staying on the south of Ikaria, don’t look any further, Pyrgos is the nicest place you can trat yourself for your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and can’t get enough of the stunning sea views and the peaceful atmosphere. Our host was also very welcoming, this is a good choice for a relaxing stay on the 🏝️

Providing free WiFi throughout the property, the allergy-free holiday home features a fitness room. An amazing accommodation! Nikos has done amazing job upgrading this little hut in Droutsoulas village - our stay there was extremely comfortable, as we really enjoyed the front yard, the view, the amazing temperature inside the house (no AC was needed even though we stayed there during a heatwave). One may find informative brochures on the table with places to visit, great tavernas, nice beaches and all the traditional panigiria. I highly recommend spending several days there to enjoy the island. Having a car or motorcycle is a must, as the village is approximately 20 mins from Evdilos, and hitchhiking your way up is not an option, as there are almost no inhabitants in the village any more. The kitchen was also very clean and equipped and I'm definitely going back to spend a few days during the winter, as those mountain views were insane!
