The studios are nicely furnished, full equipped with just about everything out might need, they have large verandas overlooking a garden and sea; the quiet beach is a very short walk down a lane. The location is completely quiet and secluded it’s a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The property is very well looked after, super clean with 2 charming ladies who meet and greet you at the airport (a 15 minute drive away) and supply you with a very good breakfast on your veranda each morning. Plenty of hot water and room to park your car, what more do you need for your vacation?!!

Chris was a gracious host, he was friendly from the start and a wealth of information. The place exceeded our expectations, the beach below was stunning and very private, many time we had it to ourselves. The small taverna a 15 min walk away made home cooked traditional meals with cheese made in house. The restaurant Chris recommended our last night was the best meal we had on the Island and the setting was in a quaint square in the town a 15 min drive worth every kilometre.

Peaceful and scenic location overlooking a small bay. A thermal pool was accessible right below the property. The owner, Kyria Marina and her staff went out of their way to be helpful and informative about nearby restaurants and services, a walking access to the town of Agios Kyrikos and arranging a custom tour of the Island. We were there in late May, but the crystal clear waters of the Bay are perfect for swimming in the summer season.

Pyrgos Traditional Village is located near the main port of Agios Kirikos, in Ikaria’s capital. The complex features sea-view villas, and a pool, a garden and a large terrace. Pyrgos is an amazing place - a little paradise! We loved every minute - the pool is perfect - surrounded by greenery and with stunning views. We were upgraded which was a wonderful surprise and spent lots of evenings enjoying the sea view from our balcony. The staff were extremely nice and helpful and took great care of us! We had the occasional cute little visitor (😻) which made our holiday all the more enjoyable 😊 I just can’t wait to return! The walk into the village is about 15-20 mins down a steep hill. We really enjoyed the walk to/from the village for dinner but for some it might be difficult.

Nikos has done amazing job upgrading this little hut in Droutsoulas village - our stay there was extremely comfortable, as we really enjoyed the front yard, the view, the amazing temperature inside the house (no AC was needed even though we stayed there during a heatwave). One may find informative brochures on the table with places to visit, great tavernas, nice beaches and all the traditional panigiria. I highly recommend spending several days there to enjoy the island. Having a car or motorcycle is a must, as the village is approximately 20 mins from Evdilos, and hitchhiking your way up is not an option, as there are almost no inhabitants in the village any more. The kitchen was also very clean and equipped and I'm definitely going back to spend a few days during the winter, as those mountain views were insane!

From coffee filters to trash bags, from cleaning supplies to bug/sprays and repellent. All the necessary kitchen equipment was there. The house was spotless. The view over Mesakti beach is wonderful. The house is situated away from areas where the number of homes built very close to one another. So if you are looking for peace and quiet and enjoy watching a sunset while sipping on your wine, this is the one. You may get lucky and receive regular visits from humming birds as they look for the nectar within fowers all around the cottage. As you walk to the cottage, there is a round teras on your left that could be prepared / set up as an outdoor sitting / eating area. It has great potential for it. However, it would require prunning of couple olive and almond trees to take full advantage of the view.
