The food was delicious and freshly prepared, offering a delightful variety of flavors every day. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The owner, Mario, was very responsive and helpful. The rooms and common areas were clean and tidy, reflecting the homestay's commitment to providing a comfortable environment for guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Raja Ampat with top-notch hospitality! We are coming back for sure.

Situé en bord de mer à Pulau Mansuar, l’établissement Nyande Raja Ampat possède un jardin et une terrasse. I like the beautiful house reef, fish, the weather and the excellent experience staying at Nyande. My 5-night stay just like living in an unreal dream. Delicious food, wide and comfortable bed, electricity, fast internet, cleanness, small number of guests at one time. Everything was perfect. The owner Andy, Esni and the staff delivered an outstanding service. Highly recommend the excursions, though comparably not cheap, they are worthy, especially the snorkeling beginners like us. Specially thank Esni who knows her area well and would like to everything for us to make sure that we could enjoy the underwater marine life as much as she could. My sister had the mobility problem at the time, Esni hold her and never left her alone during the snorkeling to ensure that my sister didn’t miss anything. Because of Esni, we picked all available excursions during our stay. I am looking forward to come back to stay at Nyande’s overwater bungalow next year.

The food was good (maybe not so vegan friendly in case you are vegan, we are not), and the staff was friendly. Great common area. Diving in their dive center is also a must. Will (dive master) takes out small groups and adapts to weather, conditions and experience of the divers. We had our own toilet and bathroom and all is great considering you are quite far from everything. Higly recommend

The food was fresh and tasty, with delicious local fish and fruits served every day. It’s an ideal spot for snorkeling and exploring nearby islands — the underwater life here is absolutely incredible. A wonderful place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy the natural beauty of Raja Ampat!

Situé à Pulau Mansuar, l’établissement Amoryg Resort and Dive Raja Ampat comprend un jardin, une plage privée et une terrasse. Cette maison d'hôtes possède des chambres familiales. Grand resort, calme, une plage privative le snorkeling est plutôt sympa on peut il y voir des requins et on a même eu la chance d'apercevoir une baleine à 200 m du bord. Il y a aussi un long ponton parfait pour y voir le coucher du soleil. Chambre spacieuse et romantique, salle de bain spacieuse, grande terrasse. On y mange très très bien. Il y a des programmes d'excursion et de plongée avec une très bonne organisation. Ils ont un bateau avec un bon moteur donc rapide et parfait pour le retour sur Wasai avec un capitaine au top et très marrant. Et surtout une équipe formidable, nous avons passé un superbe séjour en leur compagnie et une rigolade assurée.

We had an amazing stay at Gibran guest house! The bungalows are amazing on top of the water, the area is full of incredible snorkeling spots, and the trip proposed are very nice with a lovely team ! I booked 8 days here. I went diving for three days on the Pulau Gam and snorkeled daily on Friwen. They are about a 10 mins boat ride. The Homestay is rustic. There are two beds covered with mosquito net. They are totally fine but somehow one would get in every night. It’s an island at the equator, there are mosquitoes. Also geckos! That’s part of the adventure. The room has an interior slide lock and there’s a clipping lock with a key for locking when you’re away. Honestly I never locked my place. The island seems very safe. Kids playing, most of the folks on the island are involved in tourism, though they don’t speak much English. It wasn’t an issue. I traveled solo and spent most afternoons in the hammock, reading, writing or napping. The food was amazing, delicious, the cook is very sweet and calls you to breakfast, lunch and dinner. The fresh fish is caught daily. Vegetables and rice, very delicious and all included. Large quantities. Box lunches are available if you are diving all day. Bananas are snacks. Unlimited instant coffee, tea, hot water. The island is stunning. Sunsets amazing. The reef has more life to see while snorkeling than most places (Europe, Caribbean, US, Latin America) have to see while scuba diving! I saw turtles, squid, dolphins playing, reef sharks and millions of coral. A not about cash and other fees: you will need ~140,000 to take a ferry from Sorong to Waisai. Then you’ll need 600,000 to ride each way from Waisai to Friwen (this can be divided with others, provided there are other riders.). On Waisai, you’ll have to buy a Marine Park pass and an entry pass, in total 1,000,000. So you’ll need around 2,250,000 in cash (be prepared bc the pass can be purchased online, or card but sometimes their system is down and you have to pay cash). In Sorong airport there are four ATMs, most of them don’t work well. There are ATMs on Waisai but you have to ride a motorcycle to them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
