Shared bathrooms 2 for 5 rooms were cleaned daily, you get fresh coffee 24/7 , can even use a common kitchen for minor preparations, fridge, cheap and good scooter rent, amazing breakfasts (try Manado porridge!) Rico is such a lovely host, very welcoming and a great source of information. If there is anything inyour mind, don't hesitate to ask. He tries to make everything possible. Facing the seafront in Bunaken, Sunset Guest House & Bar has a private beach area and a bar. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Charming family owned guest house, absolutely fabulous food like you won't find elsewhere on the island. The family helped us out w transport and anything else we needed. Definitely recommend staying there,, we would come back!

Ino ( her son ) is in charge of the jungle tour and has a strong knowledge ( and patience) for all animals & we had the chance to spot Cuscus Bear, Black Macaques, tarantulas, Tarsiers thanks to him. Offering an accommodation with a dive centre, Happy Gecko Dive Resort is located on Bunaken Island in North Sulawesi, just steps from the island’s world-famous beaches and diving sites. It features a private beach area and a restaurant. The location of the property is the best spot for self snorkelling and they have boat trips for daily snorkel and scuba points with realy good staff and boats are not crowded. This is a family owened bussiness and thanks to Jerry and Wileke they answered all my questions patiently and helped me during our stay. It was very nice listening Jerry's singing with his guitar on the beach. They also have a beautiful large tropical garden.

The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need, including super comfortable beds! The jungle tours are also organized directly by the guesthouse, one at 6 a.m. and one at 4:30 p.m. We did both tours with Gian, who managed to find every animal we were hoping to see and explained so much about their way of life. Thank you so much, Gian, for this amazing experience! We also recommend taking a walk through the village down to the beach. Everyone was so kind to us and always wanted to strike up a conversation, which we really enjoyed. We will definitely keep recommending this guesthouse and are so glad we chose to stay here! Frangky's place is basic, so do not expect luxury, but everything works, everything is super nice and clean, you have a comfy bed with a mozzy net and I slept marvelously. Location is great, and Frangky will help you with anything you might need. Cute patio with greenery around it to enjoy your morning coffee and chill with a book. Will def come and stay again!
