Really beautiful secluded location with fantastic Torajan traditional house. The family were completely lovely and very accommodating.

Yansen and his family already started taking care of us before we even got there. Everybody was super nice and giving good tips (funeral ceremonies, further transport, where to buy postcards;)…). They also provide laundry service and very very good food! We came as strangers and it felt like we left as a part of the family!

Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

Ino ( her son ) is in charge of the jungle tour and has a strong knowledge ( and patience) for all animals & we had the chance to spot Cuscus Bear, Black Macaques, tarantulas, Tarsiers thanks to him. The homestay is super clean with great space & bed. I highly recommend this place that is a gateway at the door of Tangkoko park Thank you for all Renny & Ino 🙌

Built in traditional Torajan style, Rura Raya Homestay is situated in Rantepao. The rooms here offers modern comforts and while maintaining the traditional decor. Hospitable, friendly family went out of their way to make our stay special. Large, clean room with balcony and nice view, delicious home cooked food, good contact of local guide, flexible hours for meals, good location.
