There are artificial lakes for fishing. The cabin is completely made of wood and makes it a special feeling. We got to see a fox in front of the cabin in the morning, it was something new and interesting for us.

Just 500 metres North of Carlow in a quiet mature area (a 10-minute stroll), Avlon House Bed and Breakfast is an ideal base for touring the South-East of Ireland. Amazingly clean and the room we were in had a great sized bathroom with a very good walk in shower! Tom was a perfect host, and he was always on hand to help at any time!

The view from the back was exceptional. The house is in fantastic order, very clean and great facilities throughout. Huge green space, was Ideal with 2 young kids in our group. Very quiet as well.
