Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. The hotel features a public bath, a karaoke room and free WiFi at the lobby. Food was excellent, lots of seafood. Sea-view room was very comfortable.

The host was incredibly kind, he suggested the best places to eat and buy locally produced lemon pastries, and when we were leaving, he brought his cat, Tiger, and waved goodbye to us. As we were on a three-day bike trip and only had our small backpacks with us, we loved the fact that everything was provided: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes, toothpaste, mouth wash, etc. In each room there were even a couple of bottles of water and everything for making tea and coffee. In the common spaces there was a microwave, guidebooks, manga books, and a wall full of Toso Maps of the Shimanami Kaido trail. We will definitely book Bed&Cafe Onzo again next time we bike the Shimanami Kaido!

Situated 35 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, みやうら御殿 offers 2-star accommodation in Imabari and features a garden. This apartment features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The apartment has family rooms. I arrived late by cycling around 7pm. The road it self was quite dark with no street light. Meaning location wise if u are going to check-in late, better mindful to reach early. It was kind enough that the staff willing to wait for me. He was super friendly and I had a good time.

This villa features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The property is non-smoking and is situated 35 km from Kuruson-zan Shuzen-ji Temple. The location was simply divine. You need a car to get there. But the view over the ocean and watching the sunset is unbeatable. It had everything you needed for cooking, so well equipped.

All the amenities were spot on, and even the shared bathroom was really clean. Koji was super helpful too. The island is beautiful and really well set up for tourists had an awesome time!

Jock is a wonderful host, very giving with his time and tips. Made us takoyaki, which was yum!!! Parents found the chairs a bit hard (used to a sofa :) ), but it was fine. Location was fine, ten mins to at least 2 supermarkets and maybe 15 mins to main train station - easy to walk.
