Close to the waterfront/cruise terminal and transport options are just outside the door. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, The guest lounge is a bonus, great for relaxing with friends, having tea or coffee or heating up a meal. Rooms are spacious with plenty of space for luggage, very handy for cruisers.

Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. The hotel is amazing! Very clean and cozy. Staff is extremely polite. I read in comments that it was the best guesthouse/hostel travellers stayed whenever before. So, I can confirm this! It really is!

All staff members were very kind and we felt like at home.

Ouvert en avril 2017, l’Hakone Kowakien Tenyu propose des chambres de style japonais dotées d’un sol en tatami, ainsi que d’une baignoire extérieure ou d’un bain thermal en plein air en céramique,... This has to be one of the greatest experiences I've ever had in a resort or hotel. The location is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms are super spacious and clean. The tubs on the balcony are lovely, the beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and super impressive, catering to both Japanese and Western cuisine with the most incredible wide selection I've seen. Dinner was absolutely fantastic, with both the courses and the seafood buffet being exceptional. Among all the hotels I've stayed at, this place has the friendliest staff, catering to your every need. They offer a free shuttle bus to Gora Station as well as free ice cream from the vending machines. They have two onsen: one with an infinity pool and a fantastic view, and a garden one with a beautiful waterfall. I cannot recommend this place enough; we had the most fantastic stay ever.

Le Mount View Hakone propose d'exceptionnels bains de sources chaudes Nigori-yu (eau laiteuse), des chambres de style japonais et une cuisine japonaise. Chambre style japonais très spacieuse et originale. Toutes les commodités dont on a besoin. Personnel super aimable, comme tous les japonais en général. Les repas incroyables. Je conseille vivement de prendre la demie pension et ne pas regarder les photos pour avoir la surprise. C’est vraiment genial! On rêve déjà de revenir ici un jour.

Doté de bains communs de source chaude, l'Hakone Suimeiso est situé à 3 minutes à pied de la gare d'Hakone Yumoto et à 15 minutes de marche du temple de Sounji. Comfortable, excellent view of the river, great location close to the train station, amazing onsen facilities (tattoo-friendly) and the cherry on the top was the private onsen on our room. Lots of attention on the details. We were super satisfied with it all.

Établissement était spacieux avec un décor qui vous plonge en plein dans la culture japonaise, avec des tableaux, montrant la beauté du paysage. ainsi qu’un jardin de toute beauté. Le personnel de l’hôtel parle très bien anglais également et très serviable et vous aide dans toute situation. J’ai beaucoup apprécié les bains ainsi que la cuisine qui proposait au restaurant. Merci encore pour ce fantastique moment. Nous avons beaucoup aimé avec mon ami votre hospitalité.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The décor and facilities are modern and stylish, and the overall ambiance is incredibly relaxing. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed in every detail. The staff were all exceptionally kind and attentive, providing warm and meticulous service that made me feel truly welcomed. I especially loved the layout of the room. There’s a small entryway that separates the entrance from the bedroom, creating a sense of privacy. The room also includes a cozy sitting area. Another thoughtful touch is the space leading to the balcony—it’s separated by a sliding shoji-style door, allowing guests to change after enjoying the private onsen bath outside without dripping water into the room. It’s small details like these that really reflect the hotel’s care and consideration. The private open-air bath on the balcony was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Unlike many other hotels that simply provide a small tub, this is a full-sized stone bath that comfortably fits two people. There’s even a small table and chairs next to it, perfect for resting and enjoying the beautiful mountain view. It was an incredibly soothing and luxurious experience. The hotel is nestled in a tranquil mountain area, surrounded by peaceful nature. The scenery is truly breathtaking—so much so that even just wandering around the hotel feels like a visual retreat. Every corner, every hallway, and every window offers a picture-perfect view. The harmony between the architecture and the natural surroundings is so beautiful that I often found myself stopping just to take it all in. The dining experience was excellent as well. Meals are served in set courses, with options beyond traditional kaiseki—including teppanyaki. Breakfast includes both Japanese and Western-style selections.
