Staff also gave a very nice tour of the building on arrival and answered all of our questions about Matsumoto. Would come back any day and explore the city some more from here! We didn’t get the dinner but it looked delicious from what other guests were eating. The buns were amazing

My friend and I really enjoyed our time here. It’s an incredibly cute guesthouse with a great vibe. The shared kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of utensils to use and enough space to enjoy a cozy meal. There’s even a kotatsu! We also messaged them after booking to ask whether the room was mixed or female-only, as we were a bit concerned. We received a very quick response reassuring us that there was no need to worry and that a female-only room would be prepared for us. The owner is super friendly, and her positive energy is contagious. :) Since it’s located in an onsen town, there are plenty of opportunities to relax after a day of exploring.
