The host is truly a heartwarming person – incredibly kind, caring, and always there when you need help. After we got lost while hiking, he kindly came to pick us up. We also had some amazing, heartfelt conversations with him – such a beautiful and thoughtful soul! He speaks perfect English and gave us great insider tips and restaurant recommendations. Thanks to him, we had the best Okonomiyaki at a nearby local spot – so delicious and unique! It was a completely different experience from Tokyo, where things often felt more impersonal. Here, everything was filled with warmth and sincerity. We also enjoyed a typical Japanese breakfast, which was simple, delicious, and such a special experience. It’s those little moments that make a Japan trip feel truly complete and authentic. The house is cozy, peaceful, and perfect for hiking. There are supermarkets nearby, and the whole area has a romantic and relaxing vibe. It’s an ideal place for couples, nature lovers, or anyone seeking a quiet break from the big cities. We felt completely at home and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for making our stay so special – this place and its people will stay in our hearts!

L’établissement 奈良五條の宿 彩 irodori se situe à 29 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Subaru Hall. Miyuki was wonderful: very helpful; charming and a terrific cook! The place could be a little hard to find but Miyuki picked us up at the station and it turns out there's an easy 15-minute walk to Suda station that's not on Google maps. It's a semi-rural setting and quite peaceful and was a great base for us for a day at Koyasan. The facilities were very modern and spotless and Miyuki's breakfasts were wonderful. Highly reommended, if the location suits you (as it did us.)

Delicious breakfast every day. Hiroko is easy to talk to. She always checks in and asks how things are once she is available, friendly but not in a pushy way. She and Dane are nice couple, they always provide help. Staying here is like staying home.

Gorgeous authentic old Japanese house very well located in the heart of Nara and very close from shops and key locations (in a calm street). The house is beautiful, very big and has everything needed for a short or a long and comfortable stay! Everything is very clean, facilities are convenient and well equipped. The owner is very kind and helpful, great communication and warm welcome! So far my best booking on this app and my favorite place to stay in Japan, I 100% recommend it!

My hosts were amazing! Every night there is opportunity to get to know them. Very welcoming and caring atmosphere. Cleaning every day to maintain consistent clean environment. Respectful and accommodating. Host helped me reserve things and was open to questions.

Lits confortables, petite lampe torche disponible pour ne pas réveiller ses compagnons de chambre, adaptateurs pour ceux qui ont été étourdis, et plein de petites attentions. Bagagerie disponible avant 13h, pratique car peu de casiers disponibles à la gare en arrivant. Et enfin, très bon accueil

L’établissement Houtouji Temple se trouve à Yoshino, à respectivement 34 km et 38 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Subaru Hall et Gare de Nara. Silence, morning prayers, they took us from and to the train station with their car. Beautiful place in the woods

L’hébergement Ranjatai se trouve à Nara, à respectivement 20 km, 24 km et 25 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Iwafune Shrine, Stade de rugby Hanazono (Higashiosaka) et Nippon Christ Kyodan Shijonawate... This is an amazing property and we loved staying in a traditional Japanese townhouse, in a quiet part of town. I was travelling with my husband and 3 adult children in early April. The location is great for walking into Nara (10-15 mins). We arrived in the evening and it was lovely that our host had put the heating on for us and it was easy to retrieve the keys from the key safe. It was a bonus to find there are 2 toilets and 2 hand washing basins in the property. We all agreed that the shower is the most powerful shower we have ever come across - amazing. All the beds were large doubles and very comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and our host had left lots of extra towels for us (far more than we chose to use). We liked that the bedrooms could also be heated in the evening, if needed. I used the washing machine and the instructions in English were helpful. There were lots of hanging rails to dry clothes on. The kitchen was well equipped and had more than we needed to reheat meals from the convenience store or to make snacks. For the rest of our stay in Japan we stayed in aparthotels in family suites. I was great to have so much room to spread out in for a few days. I highly recommend this property.

Auberge dans une maison traditionnelle parfaitement située pour découvrir le parc de Nara, ses daims et son magnifique temple. Un grand merci à Yoko pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. N'hésitez pas à vous poser un peu et discuter avec elle, elle est adorable et ouverte sur tout un tas de sujet. Mon seul regret : ne pas être resté plus longtemps. ありがとう Yoko
