Le J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse est situé à Hongu, à 10 minutes en voiture ou à 70 minutes à pied du chemin de pèlerinage Kumano Kodo depuis le grand sanctuaire de Kumano Hongu Taisha. Si vous passez par le Kumano Kodo, cet hostel est une adresse à ne pas manquer. L'endroit est beau, calme, convivial. Les onsens - notamment celui en extérieur - sont un must. Les panneaux à l'entrée de chaque permettent de ne pas être dérangé par d'autres résidents. Sur les dates où je suis resté malgré le fait que la majorité des capsules étaient occupées, la nuit a été calme et agréable. Les autres convives faisaient en sorte de ne pas déranger. Les capsules en elle même ont des tatamis et futons, si vous aimez les couches fermes, vous dormirez comme un bébé.

Amazing place to stay, extremely recommended. A really great experience in general - I stayed in one of the suites and could not have asked for a more relaxing and peaceful place to stay, only a short walk from Okunoin Cemetary and an easy walk to the rest of town. Very close to the bus stop from Koyasan Station. Staff were always helpful and the meals were unbelievably delicious and satisfying, even though I needed to ask for a soy-free modification. The best food I ate during my stay!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this guest house, and it exceeded all my expectations! 1️⃣ Perfect Location: The guest house is right next to Kii-Nagashima Station and sits directly on the Kumano Kodo trail, making it an ideal choice for hikers. You can start your trek right from the doorstep—so convenient! 2️⃣ Delicious Meals: The host prepares incredible meals! The lunch box (bento) was especially great for taking on the hike—tasty, filling, and packed with energy. Breakfast and dinner were also fantastic! 3️⃣ Thoughtful Hospitality: Since it was the rainy season, my shoes got completely soaked. The host kindly dried them for me using a dryer—such a considerate gesture that made a huge difference! 4️⃣ Great Sake & Umeshu: During dinner, the host shared some amazing sake and umeshu (plum wine). Both were delicious, especially the umeshu—sweet and smooth, a perfect way to unwind after a long hike. 5️⃣ Easy Communication: The host speaks both English and Chinese and even uses WeChat, which made communication effortless. As a Chinese speaker, I really appreciated this! 6️⃣ Perfect Stay Overall: Everything—from the cozy room to the food, drinks, and hospitality—was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would 100% recommend it to anyone hiking the Kumano Kodo. If you’re planning a trip to the Kumano Kodo, don’t miss this guest house—it will make your journey even more memorable! 🌟

I had a wonderful experience at this guest house and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! 1️⃣ Great Location: The place is super convenient—just a short walk from the station and close to major attractions. There’s even a Lawson convenience store nearby, making it easy to grab snacks or essentials. 2️⃣ Spotlessly Clean: The room and shared spaces were immaculate, which made my stay very comfortable. It’s clear that the host takes hygiene seriously! 3️⃣ Thoughtful Amenities: I was impressed by how well-stocked the place was—they provided everything from body lotion and makeup remover to deodorizing spray. These little touches made my stay so much more comfortable. 4️⃣ Smooth Unmanned Check-In: The self-check-in system was seamless and hassle-free. I arrived late at night, but the process was quick and easy—no stress at all! Overall, this guest house offers great value with its prime location, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Situé à Shimosato, l’hébergement ゲストハウス れんげ苑 offre une vue sur le cours d’eau. Il propose un jardin, une terrasse, un restaurant et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Absolutely amazing experience!!! 🤩 The owner took such a good care of us - she pre-heated the accommodation to let us into warm atmosphere in winter. She offered us an amazing home cooked dinner, which definitely exceeded our expectations 😋 (paid extra, but very much worth the price!). She is such a kind and noble person. We gave her a small gift on check out and she reciprocated us 🎁. The breakfast was also amazing! The free parking spot in this nice stopover area for the drive through tour was a big plus! Can only wholeheartedly recommend!

L’hébergement B&B Sampark se situe à Shirahama, à seulement 600 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage de Shirahama. Everything ! Tout est parfait dans ce B&B, on a été choyées du début à la fin et même après la fin. Les hôtes font beaucoup pour que notre séjour soit parfait. L’accueil est parfait on en a profité pour mangé le midi dans le café. Super 👍🏼 ! La chambre vue mer est juste parfaite aussi… Sérénité et calme au rendez vous … on a pu profité d’expérience proposé par le B&B comme le yoga dans le temple le matin, suivi par copie du Sutra avec toujours le même moine. Il était parfait lui aussi. Les petits déjeunes différents chaque jour sont parfaits aussi… on a découvert la spiruline bleu, et aussi des boissons énergisantes naturelles le second matin. Les adresses indiqués pour manger sont aussi exquises ! Comme celle au bas de la rue, adresse japonaise typique familiale simple. Best Katsudon 🙌🏼! Et la reco pour un head spa chez Polé pole. Parfait aussi l’hôte a réservé pour nous 🙏🏼. Bref allez y !!!!

Countryside, quiet and peaceful. Everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything, and I helped myself to hotpot. Bicycles are available, too. Absolutely loved the traditional Kotatsu table and futons. Bathtub was neck-deep. Self checkin similar to abnb style. Easy!
