Darren was a fantastic host- very attentive and had great recommendations about things to do and places to eat. By talking to him we gained good insight into life in Don Det. We enjoyed a spacious, clean room with a big bed, beautiful views of sunset over the river, hammocks, a fridge and a good shower. Darren also offered pick up from the ferry, and he met us there with our luggage when we were leaving.

Staff was amazing and very kind, giving a lot of useful information. Also, they provide bicycles for a cheap price. Breakfast is also delicious.

My room was immaculately clean with cold AC, a ceiling fan, and hot water. I don't know if it was because I just had quiet neighbors but I didn't hear any noise from the other rooms. They also provide laundry service for a fee and rent motorbikes.

From here you can go easily to the other island and the waterfalls. The owner is really nice, always taking care of the guest and she even gave a bracelet at the end of my staying :) The bungalows are spacious and clean and the wifi works really good
