It is also a short 5-10 min walk to the fort which is the main attraction in the city and just a couple minutes away from the bazaar. The breakfast was outstanding, one of the best we had in our trip in Sri Lanka. And so was the coffee! The staff were very nice and helpful, they went out of their way to help us with an issue we had completely unrelated to our stay there which was greatly appreciated.

We were leaving at 6am, the hostess made sure we had a cup of coffee before we left. Cannot find fault with anything. I would highly recommend Silver rail to everyone. Boasting pool with a view and views of pool, Sri Lanka Surf Villa Domus Graziella is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Ahangama, less than 1 km from Kabalana Beach. With garden views, this accommodation features a balcony. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We had an amazing stay here — everything was truly excellent! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive; both the young man and the older gentleman working there went out of their way to help us and make sure we were comfortable. We stayed in a five-person room that had two double bed and one single, plus a shared bathroom. The room was spotless and very cozy. The bathroom has an open-style concept, which might not suit everyone for a long stay, but since we were there only for a few nights, it wasn’t a problem at all. Also, there’s a separate restroom downstairs near the restaurant, which is convenient. Breakfast was one of the highlights — they prepare your eggs exactly how you like them, and there were also warm chocolate-banana crepes, fresh fruit, and various drinks. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served with care. The pool isn’t very big, but it’s clean, refreshing, and perfect for cooling off. The garden area is lovely and relaxing, ideal for spending quiet moments outdoors. The beach is about a 15–20 minute walk away — not too close but definitely walkable. On top of all that, it’s an excellent value for money. We honestly paid much less than we expected for the quality of service and comfort we received. It’s a great price-performance option, everything about our stay was pleasant and satisfying 👏🏻
