Haute qualité du restaurant et des équipements, propreté sans reproche, piscine très belle et très bien entretenue. Nous avons adoré. Merci à tous pour avoir rendu notre séjour si parfait.

Perfect in our opinion and the guy is very nice and helpful. The hot water wasn’t working and he instantly fixed it. Recommend!

Talalla Beach is about a 12-minute walk away along a relatively quiet street. Compared to other beaches on Sri Lanka’s southern coast, it is less crowded, making it a peaceful spot to relax.

I booked this property based on a review written by a family similar to ours. And the open air bathroom. We are a family of 4 with a 5 yr old girl and 2 year old boy. We rented the large family suite and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less then 5 mins from the beach, large comfortable double beds with mosquito nets, a shared kitchenette, large comfortable bathroom with hot water and AC. The owners were such lovely accommodating people. The best part was the location. Hiritekiya is an Instagramy digital nomady hotspot, and Jungle Escape is located in the less developed part of the beach. So we were close to everything but in a more tranquil environment.

Beautiful house with local architectural details like wooden windows and wooden terrace fencing. The village of Batigama is also very authentic - there are almost no large or even medium-sized hotels, just small houses where local people live and also other small guesthouses. At the same time the guesthouse is very near to the main road that connects all the resorts on the southern coast. The best beaches in the area are Turtle beach in 5 minutes walk (good for relaxation and turtle watching) and Hiriketiya beach which is 3 km away and has bigger waves and surf lifestyle vibe. The family who owns the house is very nice. They make delicious breakfasts and also can help with useful information, such as public transport schedule or facilities in the village. The owners also have a dog that is super cute and friendly!

Situé à Matara, l’établissement Surf Lodge Madiha comprend un jardin, une plage privée, une terrasse et un restaurant. The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Proche de la plage et en même temps en plein milieu de la nature j'ai beaucoup aimé la petite maison. J'ai eu un super accueil, très serviables. Si vous cherchez un peu d'intimité c'est parfait avec cette jolie maison de deux chambres. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Merci beaucoup.

We stayed in the small room attached to the main house; it was perfect for us! The bathroom was sooo beautiful haha it was like an outdoor shower surrounded by rocks (pictures on the listing don’t do it justice!!). The bed was super comfy and the AC worked great! It was so nice to come back to the cool space after a day in the heat. Make sure you keep the bathroom door closed or else the mosquitoes will find their way in! The kitchen we were able to use was great and had everything we needed. Lovely family running the place as well. Location was also really nice, jungle beach is close and there’s a nice restaurant next door. Would definitely recommend!!

Quiet location, in between two beaches, Blue Beach and Hiriketiya Beach (both at about 10 minutes walking distance) that each have their own charm. The building is completely new, and the rooms and balcony are very spacious and well equipped. The balconies are connected but you have your own table and chairs. Also the interior and decorations are aesthetically pleasing. We liked that you could just make your own tea or coffee and cut your fruit. Breakfast options are literally next door, especially Maabi is a nice place. For lunch and dinner, better options are a bit of a walk (about 20 minutes) but plenty of ways to take a tuktuk.
