The location is perfect. The owner of the hotel and the staff were very friendly and kind. If you want to feel at home, this is the perfect spot!

Just amazing! Newly build, nice spacious. Perfect in our opinion and the guy is very nice and helpful. The hot water wasn’t working and he instantly fixed it. Recommend!

Property is awesome and helpful staff room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is tasty come together with fresh fruits. Dinner also Excellent. The villa silence at night and i have peaceful sleep. Beautiful and grennery garden where you can relax and enjoy the fresh air. A large bedroom with AC a good bathroom. Kitchen. Dining room. Blacony. They also have 2 bikes free of charge. You have 2 minutes to the supermarket 7 minutes waliking to the Talalla Beach. Feels just like home super comfortable! Absolutely recommended

It was very clean and the beds were private - it felt that you have your own space. I went to different hostels in Hiriketiya, but this one is the best.

The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Jeremy and his staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The morning breakfasts were absolutely fantastic. We came as a family, so having two adjoining rooms was a great bonus. It’s a beautiful property and the beach access was good as well.

Absolutely in love with the place that Wounderfull couple is managing! The whole team made out stay incredible and unforgettable, the varied so much about us almost every moment we stepped out of the room. Mr and Mrs Dias are always in the hotel, approachable if you need something. The hotel has a great security, it is not easy for strangers to come in. Also it is located on the Main Street it is very quiet and we slept well. The beach and some good restaurants are just couple minutes walk. The room was clean with everything you need, comfortable beds, hot shower with very good water pressure. Breakfast was very good with small compliments from the chef. We really enjoyed the place and would love to come back to this particular hotel next time we visit Sri Lanka.
