Amazing location in the Kaapse Bossen, right in the forest with lots of walking routes. We came by public transport and there is a bus stop 5 mins walk from the holiday park entrance. The park was really nice and quiet for us where you hardly heard anyone and all you could hear was the various bird species living around the chalet. De Vink is incredibly well designed, showed lots of innovative use of the limited space you get in a cabin without it feeling small. It felt very homely and also has a ton of natural light which was lovely. The kitchen was well equipped with a great range of pans and utensils to cook with. The aircon in the bedroom was very welcome in this warm period, it works so well you only need to use it for 15 minutes before bed anyway as it really does its job! It was also great to have the washing machine and dryer in the shed with washing liquids provided, so we could do a mid-week wash without bringing our own supplies. The wine and chocolate left at the cabin were a really nice gesture as well.

From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and easy. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and some snacks – such a thoughtful gesture! The tenant came in to check everything was in order, which made us feel very welcome. The house itself was absolutely perfect for our group of ladies. It offered plenty of privacy, and the quietness surrounding the property was amazing – a rare find in the Netherlands. We all slept like angels, thanks to the quietness and very comfortable beds. Everything was spotless and meticulously clean, which added to the comfort and peace of mind. The location was fantastic, with beautiful walking routes like the Kaapse Bossen just a few minutes away (walking). It was the perfect mix of relaxation, nature, and comfort. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our getaway. Highly recommended!
