Food was good with friendly prices. They have really good guides who can take you on some really amazing walks in the jungle. I recommend minimum going for a 2 day junglewalk. My room had everything I needed, including a well working hot shower — a real treat after a day out in the park. The inn itself is perfectly located in my opinion: You’re away from the busy main road, but both the village centre and the bus station are easy to reach by foot within a few minutes walk. When I wanted to go to the neighboring village for a little trip, they also kindly let me borrow a bicycle. I went on two walking Safaris led by Isswor who has decades of experience in the area. We were accompanied by Ram as a second guide and both of them always managed to find great spots to have some close but respectful & safe animal encounters.

We also fell in love with their adorable dogs—one in particular was always smiling, and though we never caught its real name, we lovingly called it “Happy.” The other mischievous golden retriever was named Coco, which we overheard from the staff as it was always being called out to. One particularly memorable moment was when the staff performed a morning pooja. They even offered us Vibhuti as part of the ritual—a kind gesture we had to politely decline since we’d rushed down for breakfast and hadn’t yet showered! It’s rare to find a place where everyone—from the management to the housekeeping team—seems genuinely happy to be there. KC’s Home lives up to its name and is truly a home away from home.
