Owners were responsive and easy to communicate with on WhatsApp

A recently renovated villa in Faja Grande and within 2.5 km of Praia Faja Grande, Aldeia da Cuada features an outdoor swimming pool, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. This villa provides a bar. The villa has parking on-site, spa facilities and luggage storage space. The staff was amazing and the wonderful character of the place! Beautiful doesn’t really capture how amazing it was! We had everything we needed and the customer service was above and beyond. We also enjoyed our meals we ate on site. Wish we had eaten there more than one dinner! Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room to stretch out in the house. We did not attempt to cook in the house but were easily able to prepare picnic lunches and snacks in it.

The property features quiet street views. Very large, fully equipped and stylish apartment conveniently located on the heights of Lajes. Access by car is easy. The hosts really did the utmost to make us feel welcome: they even managed to enable a very early check-in for us, as we arrived in the morning. Coffee tabs for the nespresso machine and other goodies were offered!, and a word of welcome (in French) on the kitchen whiteboard. We had detailed instructions for everything and humidity was not a problem at all! We did not cook, just prepared breakfast, and had little time to enjoy the view, as we were constantly on tour. Going out to restaurants in the evening requires driving… or uphill walking with a full belly, but even the latter is feasible.

The location is the best, very close to several restaurants, a supermarket and a bar with the ocean view and amazing coffee. The host left some food for breakfast for us which was very appreciated, and we especially enjoyed the local pineapple jam. The house had everything you need for your stay. It was clean and quiet. Highly recommend to stay here!

Communication with the host was quick and easy, Pedro suggested what is worth to visit including hike suggestions and small present on arrival. The coffee pads for the coffee machine were provided by the host, which was nice.
