Our hosts were so accommodating and responsive, always asking what we needed, and giving those thoughtful little touches that make your stay that much better. The fireplace was so nice in the evenings. Just a lovely place overall. We also liked that it was situated in the middle of the north coast of the island, so traveling to see things both east and west was easy.

The complimentary local foods were a nice touch and added to the overall experience. The apartment itself was clean and well-equipped for a long stay. The WiFi is really fast and communication with the host was incredibly hospitable and friendly, we also had a printed guide with recommendations for the best spots in Ponta Delgada.

The place was perfect and in a great location. It was very clean and had everything you need. Helio also left a few things for us in the fridge as well as fresh bread, and also offered to do a laundry since there was no washing machine in the place. We rented his car, and so he picked us up from the airport and also dropped us off, which was great because it also avoids the long lines of renting cars ! He gave us some itinerary of the island which we followed every day and we saw everything on the island thanks to that ! We will for sure stay there again next time we come to the Azores island!
