We loved the Village Inn in Woodstock. Great place to experience the magical town of Woodstock especially during the Wassail Weekend. I wanted to have a Hallmark Christmas Moment and this visit definitely fit the bill! Heather and her wonderful staff treated us like family (or maybe even a bit better!! ) They made our joint birthday celebrations so special. The breakfasts were wonderful. The room was great with all its personal touches. If we needed anything all we had to do was ask. Everyone who stayed there were fun and easy to visit with over breakfast or drinks in the afternoon by the fire place. We ate dinner at Vic's Tavern the first night and it was amazing! We dined at a few other places based on Heather's recommendations and they were wonderful. I am so glad she reminded me a few weeks prior to our visit to make reservations since it was a busy weekend for the quaint town. Definitely recommend the Village Inn in Woodstock and Vic's Tavern to anyone looking for something special in Woodstock.

Love love love this stay! The property is so beautiful and picturesque. The breakfast was incredible - cooked eggs & sourdough in a beautiful dining room in front of a fireplace. Perfect way to start the day!

Newly renovated house with a gorgeous view of Lake Rescue in Ludlow. Everything seems like it was high quality and you can tell the owners put love into the renovation. Lots of space for a couples weekend or weekend with the family. Pet friendly as well. This was our first time in Vermont & and we’ll definitely be booking this property again!

Situé à South Newfane, l’hébergement avec climatisation Magical Retreat Cottage, Autumn Colors and Waterfalls - Vermont Getaway offre une vue sur le cours d’eau. The cabin is situated in the Green Mountains in a clearing in the trees giving the feeling of isolation although there are other properties nearby. It is beautifully designed with an open plan kitchen/living space and double bedroom downstairs as well as another double bedroom in the loft space. It is bright and very well appointed with comfortable beds, a nice bathroom (on the ground floor) with plenty of hot water and towels for the shower and the kitchen is very thoughtfully equipped with plenty of cooking pots, bowls and utensils, coffee maker, full stove and microwave. We loved that Gene and Mary had left the makings for pancakes and maple syrup for our breakfast. There is a deck with table and chairs where you can sit and watch the birds in the woods. Just at the end of the driveway there is a small waterfall and pool in the river where you can have a dip on a hot day. The cabin is locked by means of a digital keypad which means no worries about keys. We received detailed directions on how to reach the property from Gene who also gave us tips on where to shop on our way in and local places to visit. We had a really relaxing few days here and would definitely recommend the Magical Retreat Cottage.

Wonderfully situated large and impressive country house, wonderfully furnished spacy rooms, warm and welcoming hosts, Nancy and Roy, Nancy prepared very good food for dinner. Would have loved to stay longer.
