This is a great place to spend a night or two between Sa Pa and Hanoi.

The location is a bit far from the town, but the bus will pick you up from and drop you off at the homestay. The staff are very kind and helpful. The house itself is also beautiful.

Has probably the best view of the valley in all of tram Tau (better than the resorts). The family dinner every night is awesome and includes lots of happy water. Popular with others biking across Vietnam. Also able to give very good advice on local hikes

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The homestay has family rooms. Host is pretty friendly but doesn’t speak any English (but it’s ok we used google translate) :). There’s a pretty nice sitting/chilling area at the back with a very nice view. Beds are a bit hard in the dorm but it’s like everywhere else around here. They can cook good food for you. They offer basically just the one meal for dinner (meat, tofu, eggs and rice with some greens) and for breakfast (ramen noodles with an egg). Dinner is very affordable (50k) and breakfast is included. The building is right next to the road, so there’s a bit of road noises but nothing that disturbed my sleep. Loved this homestay! :)
