As a first-time visitor to Johannesburg, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kelly, the host, was incredibly helpful and made everything easy from the moment I arrived – the service level is truly top-notch. The lodge itself is a large house on an estate, divided into beautifully appointed boutique-style rooms. The attention to detail is flawless, and everything is thoughtfully set up for both business and leisure travellers. I was there for work, and the space was perfectly suited – practical yet relaxing. The first thing I noticed when I entered my room was the sense of calm, and the sound of birds calling – some I’d never heard before. It genuinely made me smile. The cook prepared excellent hot meals that were the perfect comfort food after long days, and on weekends when the kitchen was closed, Kelly made sure food delivery was sorted without any fuss. It’s a short drive from the airport, and absolutely worth it. I can’t fault Wild Tree Lodge, and I’ll definitely be back on my next business trip from Brisbane.

The property has a lot to offer (pool, gym, etc.) and it is located within a safe area. The lady we met at the check-in was helpful and really kind. The apartment is practically new, very contemporary and comfy. We enjoyed the setting in the garden (they are still working on it) and easy access to our apartment. The housekeeping is convenient and of high standard. Gloria from reception was very hospitable and courteous, we enjoyed seeing her every morning before going out. We look forward to returning :)
