I just loved everything in that place! I stayed there for 4 nights and wouldn't have wanted to leave. I slept very well here and it was such a relaxing hotel. The owner family and their staff were marvellous! The breakfast was excellent with a lot of local or home made food. The wellness area was lovely: it was only for adults and very peaceful. The pools were allowed for all ages. There is free tea, bubble water and small snacks. I didn't have a car, but I rented an e-bike for 15 euros and explored Salzburg and Bad Reichenhall with it. There is also a local taxi, who will drive you anywhere you want in Wals' area for 1 euro.

I stayed at Bergland Hotel from 21.10. to 25.10., so I've spent 5 days/4 nights there. The staff was very friendly and helpful, upon check-in I received a map of Salzburg and a list of the best local restaurants/cafés, my room was equipped with a fridge and an electric kettle - with complementary tea ( 2 teabags + portions of sugar, replaced every day by cleanup staff :) ) The hotel itself is really pleasant and cozy, equipped with an elevator too. For 14€/day one could also receive breakfast there. The location was perfect, just a corner away there's a Billa store, all the major attractions are within a 15-20 min. walk, there are also 2 bus stops in close vicinity. I would 100% recommend it for anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Salzburg.

    Really liked the mattress, sleep was great. It was quiet. The location is convenient to get to the center by bus. The ticket is bought on the bus and costs just over 4 euros one way per person. Not far away in a neighboring town found a good restaurant Gasthaus Untersberg for dinner.

    It was the absolute PERFECT location. It’s 15 minutes from the salt mines, 15 minutes from a P&R location in Salzburg, 5 minute walk from a bakery, 10 minute walk to the river. If you have kids there is a park within walking distance. There is an absolutely amazing bed to sleep on, fully functioning kitchen, washing machine/dryer combo. This mother of 4 was SO impressed!! If you have a larger family, this is the place for you!!

    A modern apartment not too far away from Salzburg. Great location to stay in. Close to the Austrian countryside. The hosts are great, very friendly, speak English very well. You have everything nearby, a bakery, restaurants, supermarket. However, only recommended when you have your own car, reaching here might be difficult with the public transport. The property is relatively new so everything is modern and up to date. Comfortable apartment for 4-5 people, also if you are travelling with a baby. Has all the ammenities.
