Room was perfect with a lovely view. The room was spotless. The shower was exceptional, incredibly powerful. Breakfast was lovely. Not sure how people can moan about this as there was an excellent selection of continental foods. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the lake side. St Gilgen is a beautiful town full of fine buildings on the edge of a lake. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good buffet breakfast. Rooms have evidently had recent high quality refurbishment and there are some lovely period items in the corridors.
