Fantastic rural property with a great bit of history - the gardens were a highlight, especially all of the gorgeous flowers 🌸 Jody and Luke went above and beyond to make us comfortable on our stay - sharing information about the local area and the farm. They even gave us a lift and showed us their award winning chicken. Would gladly stay here again!

The property was located on the crest of a hill with beautiful views of the Derwent River and surrounding valley. The pole-house design was very interesting and the accommodation was spacious and well-maintained with excellent kitchen and laundry facilities and lovely outdoor decking areas. Caution was required when using the spiral staircase to the upper bedroom, but it was not an issue. Good-sized air conditioners upstairs and downstairs for heating and cooling. The excellent location enabled trips to a range of attractions close by including New Norfolk, Richmond, the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (highly recommended), Mt Field National Park and even Hobart was only a 25min drive away. A bonus was the nearby location of the well-regarded Stefano Lubiana Winery at the end of the road.
