The location is in a very beautiful place . Cleaning and servicing are perfect.

The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The staff especially the receptionists and the guys at the restaurant were very kind and polite. The breakfast was very basic. Not many varieties, but the fidh we had at dinner time was lovely.

This is an exceptional place to stay, easily one of the best I have stayed at in over 50 countries. The manager here is the definition of exceptional customer service, so caring, helpful, easy-going and patient. He showed me the room's facilities in detail, arranged breakfast, brought me some delicious local dolma to try in the evening and helped with transport. They have a wonderful, atmospheric restaurant/cafe on site, serving heaps of tasty food such as kebabs, soups, dumplings, pizza, burgers, and fantastic sushi which was a nice surprise. Coffee is great here too. The guesthouse has balconies and a big common room, and the room was very comfortable and well appointed. It's within easy walking distance of the picturesque central park, the fortress, large Aliyev Park and the main square where the marshrutka to Balakan depart from. Zaqatala is well worth a stop on your itinerary, and this is a perfect place to stay.
