This is a very special place. Mike the owner says it has a special energy. For us it was a place of peace and harmony with nature. The sunrise over the river, go for a swim, in the morning mist with the sounds of the jungle - unbelievable! In the afternoon the howler monkeys roam the treetops over the small complex. Everything is laid out very sustainably and the fabulous cook spoiled us with local food and a breakfast of our choice. We'll be back - Mike, big hug! Our bungalow at Yuma's Riverfront Lodge was gorgeous! Beautiful, modern design, luxurious bedding, spacious bathroom with rain shower, stocked bar fridge & snacks, and incredible rainforest views from our private deck. The new pool was very refreshing, and home-cooked breakfast served at their outdoor kitchen before our daily adventures was amazing! Our stay highly exceeded our expectations for the price - it was glorious for our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers). We used Xplore Inland Tours for three adventures near San Ignacio / Santa Elena: (1) Guided Moutain Pine Ridge Tour (including a visit to Rio Frio Cave, then a traditional Belizian picnic lunch, and a stop to swim in pools and waterfalls at Rio On Pools); (2) Guided Cave Tubing at Nohoch Che'en; and (3) Horseback Riding under the rainforest canopy along a beautiful river. This is a smaller, family-run tour operator that gave us private tours for a better price that huge tour operators with giant groups. Best of both worlds - our guides were amazing and we got such personalized service! They even picked us up and dropped us off at Yuma's Riverfront Lodge each day, instead of us having to find our own way into San Ignacio. Perfect! 10/10

The villa is located about a 10 min drive from San Ignacio. It’s quite hard to find, but you can ask anyone in town, they will know the host Larry. You definitely need a car. It’s a very nice little place in a beautiful setting surrounded with palm trees. It’s extremely quiet and that gives a nice break from San Ignacio. The beds are big and very comfy. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our family of 4 even without a living room. Larry can give you good advices about the activites in the area.

The Tut family were amazing hosts, very friendly and helpful. They scheduled amazing tours for our family that my teenagers really loved, especially the ATM cave tour. The rooms were great, the food was delicious, and we felt very at ease. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, we booked our ATM tour through them and it was excellent, as well as a good price. I highly recommend. Also there was coffee, tea juice, fresh bread for toast and fruit all for free!

    Food was delicious and cooked to order, the staff accommodated a vegan diet and astutely picked up on likes and dislikes through our stay. The locations on the river was relaxing and much cooler than in town. We woke to the howler monkeys each morning and saw lots of birds and reptiles during our stay. The staff was incredibly accommodating and there for your every need from planning a day trip to pointing out monkeys traveling through the river so we could see them up close.

    Amazing place right by the river where you can swim. A hidden gem! You can have breakfast & dinner at their cosy restaurant where they serve meal. Family friendly! They have wild birds & monkeys and other rain forest critters that you can observe with the kids! We loved it and we will be back. Some simple stores and a bakery are 7min walk from the place. Awesome location for all the local tours! The staff there were like family! Cozy place! A must stay! My 6yrs old and a 10 year old loved it!
