The Tides Inn was our last night splurge at the end of a two week visit to Newfoundland/Labrador. A bit more expensive than other places we'd stayed, but well worth it. A wonderful place to stay. Great view out over the inlet from the room - all rooms have the view. Robert (co-owner) was so friendly on reception with great local dinner recommendation. Room was well equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely. Self service but with a good selection - bacon, sausage, eggs, cereals, toast and pastries.

We are a senior couple who stayed in the 1 bed/bath green room.Young man on desk was terrific and on his desk was the resident black/white cat.Facilities were great,2 fridges,stove,dining tables.Coffee in a.m.with donation if wanted.Would highly recommend.Oh,our room was spotless,lovely shower.

    Location was great, Helen and staff were welcoming and wonderful hostesses, even helped us get our vehicle out of a ditch! Gracious and accommodating hosts. There were many little extra touches that made the stay special.

    We loved it all..Donna (host/owner) was VERY hospitable. This location worked well for.our plans to hike in Gros Morne National Park. We enjoyed our view of the bay up on the hill. The mini kitchenette provided us with everything we needed for light meals. During our week stay, we dined at Pizza on the Porch (on site) 2 times Donna presented us with a simple yet elegant upscale Pizza menu and more. Delicious

    Our room was exceptionally well equipped and comfortable. It was a great location from which to explore Trout River, the Tablelands, and other hikes. Donna was very engaging and knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed drinks on the deck just outside our room, overlooking the Bay. I would highly recommend the Rooms at Woody Point.

    The location is premier, the facilities are modern and luxurious, and the natural light coming in through the many windows make this an excellent choice. Views of the beautiful Gros morn national park right in bed when you wake up. The outdoor balcony is also a plus in this booking.
