We were able to go fishing nearby.
The food at the restaurant was the best we've ever had during our entire trip.
Close to a lot of other business - grocery, gas, fast food.
Provincial Park right across from the location.

Lovely breakfast with variations. Also cafe attached for a lovely lunch
Easy to visit other attractions from St Peters
Highly recommend this Inn for anyone to stay in this part of Nova Scotia.

Most of all, I liked the host Cindy. She was approachable, welcoming and a really warm person. Breakfast was amazing. I was offered a smoked tea and fell in love with it. It's very clean and comfortable. We didn't have much time to explore the area. However, there is a hike to a lighthouse nearby. I did swim in the ocean. It was very warm, surprisingly. The lake that is recognized by UNESCO is next door.

The exterior of the Bras d'Or Lakes Inn superficially harkens back to a motel from some time ago, but inside you find amazing staff, clean updated modern rooms with great amenities, and the bar and restaurant seal the deal. The restaurant is excellent, the bar had live music on a Thursday night. We were very happy with our stay and will stay again.
