ItalyWe had a fantastic stay at the Badaling Hotel — it felt like home the moment I walked in! David and May are incredible hosts who truly care about their guests. We originally came to see the Badaling section of the Great Wall, but it was packed with tourists — there was already a queue from the cable car! Thankfully, we decided to book a tour with David, a true history lover. He guided us to a hidden section of the Wall with absolutely no other tourists in sight — peaceful, breathtaking, and unforgettable. Later, he brought us to a local farm where we enjoyed a delicious lunch made with fresh, local specialties and even visited an ancient Stone village where we tasted "warrior liquor." Truly the highlight of my China trip! Don’t miss the chance to take a tour with David if you want the real Great Wall experience.

He picked us up from the train station at night and good hospitality during our 3 night stay. Very convenient location if u want to climb the badaling great wall during day time and also night time.
