What best defines this place is the amazing atmosphere created by the hosts. It’s something truly special, unlike anything we’ve experienced elsewhere. It genuinely feels like a home you become part of during your stay. There’s also the opportunity to see beautiful birds up close from the house’s terraces. The hosts were incredibly helpful in planning our days and recommending activities. Lastly, the fantastic breakfast deserves a mention—it kept us full all the way until dinner. We give this place our highest recommendation and would love the chance to visit again.

Great place between Fortuna and Monteverde with a great room, really beautiful surroundings, lovely owners and amazing tasting food. Like we loved it, felt very welcoming and really relaxed vibes! Though we stayed 2 nights and did a long 3.5h hike in between, could easily stayed longer. gracias Rob & Monika

The breakfast was delicious both mornings. The staff is very friendly and helpful with the planning of our day. The house was incredible and very quiet setting with lush trees and many birds. The river is very serene. Loved the 2 dogs. They are so sweet

Carole & Paul are the nicest hosts. The room is beautiful, everything is new and super clean. They make fresh breakfast every morning and it’s fenomenal, super fresh, large portions and we got every morning a different breakfast (we stayed 2 nights). The view is breathtaking over the lake. They have free kayaks to use aswel. Highly recommend!

The property is stunning with astonishingly beautiful views - birds , monkeys and lake. Host Christian and partner warm and welcoming. Easy to find. A beautiful compact villa with a wonderful view over the lake. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a nice garden. It's close enough to all the attractions of Arenal (we enjoyed hanging bridges, Zipline, kayak, hiking and watching the local fauna) as well as supermarkets, restaurants and cafés. At the same time it is in a quiet area, so we could thoroughly enjoy the stay with our family. The owner is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

The space, we were a family of four and we each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The house had everything needed including a large laundry room with a washer and dryer! We enjoyed a barbecue on the large outdoor patio, which has stunning views.
