The pension has a beautiful location just under the castle and on the bank of river Lužnice. Long and steep stairs lead to the main square, meaning that this route is not optimal for people with mobility problems. Fortunately the street behind the castle offers an easier route to the pension. Free parking next to the pension. Room was clean and well equipped, but especially the bathroom was a bit outdated. Free WiFi available. Bed was comfortable and it was very quiet during the night. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on Monday so we don't have experience with that, but the breakfast was excellent. Very helpful and friendly staff. A lot of value for the money!

The flat is clean and located in a quiet neighborhood, we slept very well. It had everything we needed. Lots of things to do nearby and within a 40 km radius, you can also reach must-see cities like Prague or Telč by car in 1h15 or so. Nice experience overall!

    It was simple and straight to the point, nothing fancy. Pretty much a "you get what you pay for" situation. There was a shared kitchen, which was a surprise and a pleasant one at that. The staff didn't speak any English, but they did their absolute best using Google translate. Location is pretty good, not inside of the center but a few minute walk, and right next to two supermarkets.
