I've never been so excited to check into a hotel! I love the Rothaus beer, so this was a great experience for me. The hotel is brand new, and fitted out to a high standard. The room was spacious and really comfortable. The shower has powerful, and....there was free beer in the fridge! What more can you ask for.

*** We stayed at the property for two weeks as a family, and the experience was simply wonderful. The host family was lovely – pleasant, helpful, generous and always available for any question or need. The house itself was clean, tidy and equipped with everything you could think of, which made the stay particularly comfortable and luxurious.     We booked hotel last minute as it had good rating. That absolutely correct..everything was excellent, clean and modernized rooms. Breakfast was excellent..somehow eggs were tastier than any other hotels. We even got some coupons to get discounts on local attractions. All staff were very helpful and welcoming. Hotel location itself is not scenic but most attractions around the area are drivable 10-30min drive.. Expecially families of 4 rooms are spacious

    Breakfast was excellent, all meals were excellent in face. Highly recommend Family run, the son spoke excellent English who was the cook. Such good food and the location was very quiet and peaceful. They had a freshwater nature swimming area. All in all a five star hotel !

    The location, building, and staff were amazing. The hotel is a traditional Black Forrest house but the installations are relatively modern and, more importantly, very clean! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is served as a buffet and it has choices for everyone: homemade bread, homemade jams, muesli, juices, etc. The sauna area was also very nice: modern installations with a relaxing outside area with view to the surrounding fields.
