We stayed for one night at Gasthof Runge and had a pleasant experience. The hotel offers a cozy, traditional atmosphere with clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and very imaginative. The location is well off the beaten track but that adds to its charm - and for someone touring around by car with no fixed itinerary, it opened up a scenery and an area which would never have crossed my mind. The husband and wife team running the place put a serious amount of personal commitment into their work and it shows right through everyone working in the place. Maybe a small bit pricey for those on a budget but this does exactly what it says on the tin - and a lot more besides.
