United KingdomThis place is so special. Oscar and his mum looked after us so so well - cooking us amazing trout dinner when we arrived late. So delicious we ate with them the second night, too. Oscar helped us decide what to do with our spare day with great suggestions. The lodge itself is wonderfully cozy with a fire.
We had a hire car so made getting there very easy but the buses pass right next to it so that is possible too.

Excellent Location: Located less then a 1 minute drive from the Thermas de Papallacta. Could also walk there in less then 5 mins. Also great morning breakfast.

We visited Papallacta primarily to visit the baths fed by the hot springs inside the ‘Termos de Papallacta’ resort. There is a hotel inside the resort, but it’s very expensive. Mamallacta is a wonderful alternative as it is located just a few minutes walk from the entrance to the resort and is a great deal more affordable.
Additionally we found Mamallacta Lodge to be comfortable and clean. The food was good, and the quality of service offered by the staff was exceptional.

This is a beautiful space with a very creative design aesthetic. We were very happy with the staff, the location, and the comfort of the space. This is located within a few minutes walk of the Papallacta Hot Springs, making it an ideal location to stay.

Good location if you’re on a budget to visit the hot springs which was about a ten min walk away up the road. We ate both lunch and dinner there as restaurants are limited along the road. We were given a heater for the room as it was cold by Luis the owner. Luis was very polite and communicative on WhatsApp and helped arrange a taxi. Lovey view of the mountains at breakfast time and we found it to be very quiet.
