Amazing place. 400 year old construction with a recent rebuilt with a great outside terrace. Super large room. We had dinner and it was a great value for money relation. Good breakfast. Highly recommend.

Outstanding location. Crespo is a beautiful village, pleaceful, well-kept in an environment rich in wild flowers, butterflies, bird song..... Lovely walks from the door in multiple, different habitats. Clear, clean air. We saw many large raptors and a wild boar. Also interesting villages, towns, hermitages etc. You need a car to enjoy these. La Gandara itself is a beautiful, traditional house. Food was excellent (breakfasts and dinners). Javier and Isabella were very helpful and responsive and very knowledgeable about the local area. They went out of their way to communicate with us in English as our Spanish is very poor indeed. Friendly dinners around the large dining table (when other guests were there).

La casita de Roque is located in Villarcayo. Outdoor seating is also available at the apartment.
