Very cosy apartment - more like a house, lovely sitting room with fireplace and upstairs bedrooms. The accomodation is in a secluded location but well located as it is very close to a good major road to explore the area (don't be discouraged, road noise is negligible if at all present) and close to a friendly village, and can also be combined as a base for visiting the nearby Sao Mamede park area in Portugal (the border is just a few minutes away). The garden and swimming pool area are great (unfortunately we visited out of season so still too chilly to swim), you wake up listening to all the birds. You can also have a walk in the wooded area which is part of the property, or start a hike directly from your doorstep. Very friendly host, went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. Recommended base for the area, lots of beautiful nature spots and prehistoric sites in the area and Caceres (should you wish to visit a city) just an hour away.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The apartment was exactly as described, but in reality it felt more like a welcoming home than a rental. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and with every amenity thoughtfully provided. The instructions for arrival and access were very clear, which made check-in effortless. The location is ideal — a quiet, safe spot on the edge of town overlooking beautiful rolling countryside, yet only a 5-minute stroll into town for bars and restaurants. The best of both worlds. Our hosts gave us a warm and friendly welcome, personally showing us around and providing excellent attention to detail. They also went the extra mile by leaving plenty of pamphlets and information on the surrounding area, which was really helpful. This is one of the best places we’ve stayed — comfortable, secure, peaceful, and with everything you need. Highly recommended!

    Beautiful and quiet location, comfortable and spacious apartment, great facilities, nice and friendly hosts. We even got milk, coffee and some sweets as a gift for breakfast. Dog-friendly. 🐾

    Spotlessly clean, fridge in room, air con, toiletries included, nice crisp linen and big towel. Good sized rooms with high ceilings with exposed beams. The decoration is full of charm. Breakfast was generous and included local specialities, such as 'migas' and serrano ham. The orange juice was freshly squashed.

    Everything. The location is idyllic, set in large grounds up a quiet lane. The area is most interesting and remote near the Portuguese border. The apartment is very comfortable on two levels with all you need. Well equipped kitchen and a supply of bread and pastries there for breakfast. The host was most helpful and friendly. A real get away from it all spot.

    A lovely little apartment in the tiny village of San Pedro. Jaime and his parents were gracious and helpful. The location is quiet despite being close to the road (which is very quiet during the day and silent at night) with mostly the sound of the sheep bells in the next-door fields to lull you to sleep. Kitchen was well equipped for simple meals for 4 and everything seemed new. Totally recommended.
