Very nice location, close to Rovaniemi, outside the city. Ideal to stay with children. Fire in the hall and closeness to the River with views and nature was perfect for our stay. You can make fire at a wooden refuge 100m from the hotel close to the river. Kids enjoyed the Skimobile ride! Very recommendable. Sauna available for guests (kids allowed) is a must do. Thank you Mikko for your kind hospitality. We will be back!

Everything! The place is couzy, decorated with a lot style, very clean. With coffe maker, coffe and cold watter in the fridge. And with sauna, amaizing! The owner was very helpful and responded to us in every time, even if we booked realy late for the night. Its the best property i've been so far!

    We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The location out of town provided a quiet nature surrounding, but required transportation into town and back. I recommend that you book all activities from the hotel, which will save you lots of travel. The hotel feels very homey and intimate. The staff are very warm and helpful, and feel almost like family. Buffet breakfast was varied, though it was the same every day. I recommend the Metsahirvas especially for couples looking for a quiet homey place

    Great location. Only 20mins drive to centre of Rovaniemi. Clean and modern facilities. Staff were amazing! Can book tours and transport with reception. Public bus is also available every hour. Food was great.

    Beautiful location and friendly staff to welcome us on site. Very comfortable room and great to get pre booked arranged tours from the hotel directly. You do need a rental car when staying as 20 mins from city.

    A cozy hotel in a fascinating location, close to a lake (ideal to see the northern lights) and at 17 km from Rovaniemi, the Lapland capital. Rooms are clean and spacious, especially the bathrooms (with great views too!). There is a sauna in the premises and a complete breakfast buffet. We also enjoyed a glass of wine next to the fire at dusk. Great staff.
