I just loved this house. To stay in a house from 1791 was just so cool. I loved the decor. The thoughtfulness of design and the experience was a delight. Valerie has exceptional taste. The welcoming hospitality is outrageous. Our hosts are the best in France. The spacious room with modern bathroom -view on the cathedral- in the amazing house has an historical grandeur. The garden with parking is a great place to enjoy a relaxing time. The accommodation is in a quiet street, restaurants and shops are around the corner. The breakfast was delicious. The location in the small town of Bazas is wonderful.

We really appreciated everything, from the spontaneous warm welcome and disponibility of our hosts, the comfort of our bedrooms, the spotless bathroom and the shared kitchen and sitting room. The welcome pack in each room was an unexpected plus, as was the well equipped kitchen with its coffee machine. We extended our stay to 3 nights and would have been delighted to have stayed even longer. There was a lovely relaxed ambiance with shared conversations with the other guests around the huge communal dining table on the terrace. This is a place to be highly recommended, very quiet but not far from the motorway and within 20 minutes of the vineyards of the Graves and Sauternes areas.

    The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was specklesly clean, and the scent of aromatherapy oils lay in the air. The bed was extremely comfortably firm, and the shower cubicle was enjoyably large. The location is fantastic, too. Despite being in the middle of Bazas, it was relaxingly quiet. Amble FREE public parking can be found right in front of the hotel or nearby. Bazas is a beautiful town with lots of nice restaurants and artisan shops.

    A lovely ,comfortable ,big room with a good shower in the en.suite.Breakfast was very good with fresh orange juice,great coffee and whatever we wanted.The hosts were very welcoming and ensured we found a restaurant on a Sunday evening after a long drive...we were very grateful. The location in Bazas is close to the beautiful cathedral and historique quarter. Parking on site. We will definitely return if in the area.
